Dr. Tariq Mahmood is a distinguished academic leader with over three decades of experience in education, research, and institutional leadership. As Managing Director of Minhaj Education Society (MES), he provides strategic direction to advance inclusive, value-based, and future-ready education across Pakistan.
Academic & International Exposure
Dr. Mahmood holds dual doctoral degrees, one in special education from Punjab University and the other in Educational Management and Leadership from Malaysia, complemented by a Postdoctoral fellowship in Educational Leadership from the United States. His international academic exposure informs MES’s alignment with global educational standards while remaining responsive to local societal needs.
Academic & Administrative Leadership
He has held senior academic and administrative positions at leading public-sector institutions, including serving as Director of the Institute of Education & Research at the University of the Punjab, as well as Chairperson of the Centre for Child Rights and Safety Education. His leadership portfolio demonstrates deep expertise in policy development, curriculum design, teacher education, and institutional governance.

An accomplished researcher, Dr. Mahmood has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and has supervised a significant number of postgraduate and doctoral researchers.
