Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri is one of the rising stars of Pakistan’s sociopolitical discourse, and as an economist. His revolutionary ideas are creating a new paradigm for the country. He was born in Lahore. He was influenced early by the unique religious environment of his home. He is known as an prestigious orator that can keep an audience rapt with attention. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has authored several books and his research articles have been published in magazines and journals across the world.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din and serves as president of the Federal Council of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek, and Deputy Director Chairman of Board of Governors of Minhaj University. Minhaj Education Society is a result of his perseverance and consistent which has established
several books and his research articles have been published in magazines and journals across the world.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din and serves as president of the Federal Council of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek, and Deputy Director Chairman of Board of Governors of Minhaj University. Minhaj Education Society is a result of his perseverance and consistent which has established over 630 educational institutes across the country. He also established “Aghosh” an orphan care home. He also serves as Managing Director of Capital Policy Internaltional, an organization that works with the public sector and NGOs to contribute to research.
Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri received his early education from Aitchison College and PAF College, Lahore. After comleting his intermediate he moved to York University, Toronto, to pursue his degree majoring in economics and politics. In 2006, he moved to France to pursue an MBA in International Business, from the renowned Sciences Po University of Management & Sciences (LUMS). Before Moving to Victora University in Melbourne (Australia) for his PhD in economics. He laid down a detailed plan for the formation of a Muslim commonwealth in his thesis “An Analysis of Trade Flows Among ECO Member Countries”.
Dr. Hussain seved as member of the university board of studies. During this time, he also began his training in Sharia and Classical Islamic Sciences from many renowned scholars of the Islamic world. The most prominent of these scholars was none other than his father, Shaykh-al-Islam Dr. Mhammad Tahir -ul-Qadri, who has been a guide to Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in all matters of spirituality, religion, and worldly affairs.
