Minhaj Education Society is playing its due role for promotion of education and awareness at the national level. It is a registered body having its network and branches across Pakistan including AJK. It aims at translating the latent talents among the youth into productive force enabling them to take up the leadership roles in the future. Minhaj Education Society is an important project under Minhaj-ul-Quran International founded by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in 1994. It must be kept in mind that he launched this project at a time when the government was found wanting in the educational field for lack of effective policies and allocation of resources nor did any NGO come forward to respond to the challenge. Dubbing the education as basic right of man, Shaykh-ul-Islam started this
educational project. Education is the nourishment of the mind. It brings up the new ideas and polish the thinking ability and makes the man capable of dwelling on literally as well as contextually. “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world”. (Nelson Mandela). So it has very potential role to construct a society. It provides a man direction towards the right destination.It guides the man to take a right route. Education enables the man to think intensively and critically. Character building is the main goal of education. It creates the sense of freedom. It brings evolution and revolt in the human mind. Education brings improvements in political, economical, moral, spiritual and social life of the man. MES is striving hard to provide the education covering moral, spiritual, political, and econimical and the social aspects of individual and society. Minhaj Education Society is an important project under Minhaj-ul-Quran Internaltional founded by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. It must be kept in mind that he launched this project at a time when the government was found wanting in the educational filed for lack of effective policies and allocation of resources. More than 600 educational institutions (both English and Urdu mediums) are functioning under Minhaj Education Society at the moment aimed at promotion of education, creation of consciousness and intellectual training of the youth. The idea is to impart spiritual, moral, professional and scientific guidance to the people to make them productive members of society. In short MES was founded to perform the function regarding the welfare.
